Hiraide Historic Site (平出遺跡) is the historic site of Jomo period to 4th century in Japan located in Shiojiri, Nagano Prefecture. It contains the largest settlement ruins in ancient Japan. So far, over 290 ruins of buildings including house and storage.
There are many houses restored to show the life of each period. There are 3 different sections for each period. Joumon's Village, 3,000 BCE, had over 110 houses in this regidence.
There are also restored settlements of Heian Period (6th entury) and Kofun Period (4th century).

Hiraide Historic Site was one of the ruins of the settlement from 5,000 BEC to 10th century. There are 290 ruins of the buildings found in this place. Also, many relics of ancient Japan that represents the lifestyle of Japan found here. They are displayed at the museum in this park.
