Mt. Nachi (那智山) is one of the sacred place in Japan. It is located Kii Peninsula, Wakayama Prefecture. The entire site is registered as UNESCO World Heritage Site. The most famous feature of Nachi-san is Nachi Falls. The view of Nachi Falls with Red Pagoda is one of the most popular view of Japan. Nachi Shrines, Seigantoji Temple and many other historic sits are also in this area, and creats the great sacred zone of old Japanese Myth. There are also lots of gift shops and restaurants in this place.

Kumano Nachi Shrine is one of three Kumano Grand Shrines. There are thousands of Kumano Shrines in Japan, and it is the top of them. It is located in Nachi-Katsuura, Wakayama prefecture. The first Japanese Emperor Jinmu enshrined the waterfalls, Nachi falls, as god. Then, he traveled to Nara safely by the guidance of Yata Crow. This legend of Yata Crow is very famous in Japanese Myth. The shrine was located near the falls, and moved to current location in 317. As the one of the great historic site of Kumano, it is registered as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Nachi-san Seiganto-ji Temple is located in Nachi-Katsuura, Wakayama Prefecture. It is one of sacred spot of Nachi, and registered as UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was established by Priest Ragyo who was highly trained in India in the 4th century. He practiced under Nachi Falls, and found a small image of Kannon at the basin. The current hall was reconstructed by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1590. On the side of three stories pagoda, it has great view of Nachi Falls.

Nachi Falls is one of the three major watrfalls as well as Kegon and Fukuroda in Japan. Nachi is located in southern Wakayama prefecture. It is also chosen as 100 best Japanese waterfalls. The height of the falls is 133m and the width is 13m. As a single straight falls, Nachi Falls is the highest waterfalls in Japan. It has been respected as the sacred waterfalls by many people. Today, it is registered as UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Daimonzaka is one of Kumano Pilgrimage Routes located in Nachi. It leads to Nachi Grand Shrine and Seiganto-ji Temple. It is also a part of UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kii Mountain. This path has a beautiful cedar avenue, and remains the original stone floors. It is about 500m long 100m difference of elevation. Many people used this path for worshipping the scared place.
