Obuse (小布施) is one of the popular tourist spots located in northern Nagano Prefecture. Obuse has many traditional buildings that are used for shops, restaurants, and other stores. Also, there are many beautiful Japanese gardens that are opened for the public. Obuse is also known as the chestnuts town. There are many chestnuts sweetshops.
