Eshima Kakoi House (絵島の囲み屋敷) is one of the traditional house located in Ina, Nagano Prefecture. It is a restored house based on the old document. Eshima was a powerful family who served Shogun during the Edo period. However, they lost the power and moved to this place. This house was used to be Eshima's prism.

This house is a part of Takaoka History Museum.
Admission: 400 yen for adult. 200 yen under junior high.
There is a group discount.
Time: 9:00 to 17:00 (last entry 16:30)

Eshima Kakoi House is a prism house built for Eshima family. This house is restored in 1967 as it was used to be. Eshima family was a great supporter of the mother of 7th Tokugawa Shogun Ietsugu. However, he lost his power and exiled to this place.

This house is very small but typical Samurai Style house.
