Mt. Mito Trekking (三頭山トレッキング) is one of the popular hiking in Tokyo. It is kids friend mountain for beginners. Unlike other mountains, it is not so many people visit here. So, the trekking is very quiet. Mt. Mito is 1531m tall and chosen as one of 300 best Japanese mountains. The trekking takes about 4 house with waterfalls and buna forest. It is one of the best mountain to enjoy nature in Tokyo.

1. use JR Itsukaichi Line to Musashi Itsukaichi Station.
2. use local bus to Hinohara Tomin no Mori.

Mt. Mito Trekking is one of the great attraction to enjoy beautiful nature in Tokyo. There are many trekking course for each levels. On the top of the mountain, you can enjoy Mt. Fuji and other great mountains.
Half of the course has wood chips on the route and very easy for the beginners.
