Akiu Great Falls (秋保大滝) is one of 100 best Japanese waterfalls located in Sendai, Miyagi prefecture. It is 55m tall and 6m wide. Akiu falls is also designated as the national scenic beauty.

To see it from the bottom of the fall, you have to walk down steep steps. You can also park near the bottom.
