West Mikawa (西三河) is located in the middle of Aichi prefecture. The west side of this area is facing Mikawa Bay including Atsumi Peninsula. In this area, there are many seaside recreation spots and port town. The eastern area of West Mikawa has many mountains with much beautiful nature. It is also known as the birthplace of Tokugawa Ieyasu. There are many Ieyasu spots in this area.
