How to Okonomiyaki

Information

Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き) is a Japanese savoury pancake containing a variety of ingredients. The name is derived from the word okonomi, meaning "what you like" or "what you want", and yaki meaning "grilled" or "cooked" (cf. yakitori and yakisoba). Okonomiyaki is mainly associated with Kansai or Hiroshima areas of Japan, but is widely available throughout the country. Toppings and batters tend to vary according to region.

INGREDIENTS:
-Okonomi Flour
-Cabbage
-Pork Back Ribs
-Tempura Crunch
-Okonomi Sauce
-Mayonnaise


Put Okonomi Flour into a bowl.

If you have a yam, add now.

This is a powder of yam.

Add water (160 cc).

Then mix them.

Mix them until all the pieces of flours go off.

Add Cabbages.

You can add cabbages as much as you like.

More cabbages, the better taste.

Add Tempura Crunches.

After you mixed, you start prepare for grilling.

Grill pork back ribs with heated oil.

You only need little bit of oils and flatten them.

Pour mixed Okonomi Flowers.

Make it into circler shape.

When the color of the edge of Okonomi Flowers starts changing, put the well cooked pork back rib on Okonomi Flowers.

Then, flip it.

Don't press it!

Cut it half and check out the inside.

If the flowers are totally cooked, the finishes

Pour Okonomi Sauce directly over Okonomi yaki on the grill pan.

Last, pour Mayonnaise.
