Jojakkoji(常寂光寺の紅葉) is one of the Koyo spots in Kyoto. It has a beautiful Autumn Leaves during the end of November. Especially, around the main gate, there are many breathtaking Japanese Maple Trees.

There is no parking, but is restroom.
Admission: 400 yen for adult, 200 yen for kids.
Free for handicap person.
Open: 9:00 to 17:00 (last entry 16:30)

0. at Kyoto Station.
1. use JR Sanin Line to Saga-Arashiyama.
2. walk west (15 min.)

Koyo at Jojakkoji
Jojakkoji is Nichiren Buddhism temple established in 1596. This place was originally located Shiguretei of Fujiwara no Sadaie who selected Hyakunin ishu at this place. Priest Nisshin was the founder of the temple.
