Takeishi House is one of the traditional houses located in Yahiko, Niigata Prefecture. It is a typical farmer's house in this region. This house was constructed in an early 18th century. The unique feature is the kitchen does not have the floor and used on the earth floor. You can see the typical lifestyle of the farmers in Edo period.
