Yamaguchi Prefecture is located at the Westernmost prefecture of the Main Island of Japan. It is a part of Chugoku-Shikoku Region. There are many historical sites such as Hagi where the Meiji Restoration happened. Also, in the middle of Yamaguchi, there are beautiful nature spots including Akiyoshidai Field. Hagi was used to be the castle town that is still remains the samurai period buildings. On the southern side where faces to Seto Inland Sea, there are also many popular spots including Iwakuni.
