Chionji Temple (知恩寺) is one of the Rinzai Zen Buddhism temple located Miyatsu, Kyoto Prefecture. It is known as the temple of Amanohashidate that is one of three scenic beauties of Japan. This temple was established in 808 by the order of Emperor Heizei. There are many old buildings which are over 500 years old.

Chionji Temple
Chionji Temple is a Rinzai Zen Buddhism temple located nearby Amanohashidate, Kyoto Prefecture.
