Chionji Temple is a Rinzai Zen Buddhism temple located nearby Amanohashidate, Kyoto Prefecture.

Originally, Chionji was established at 808 by the order of much Heizei. It is considered as 3 Monju Temples in Japan.

There are many traditional buildings remaining in this temple.

Taho Tower
