Detailed Travel Guide

Kaisendonya Seta House
This space is devoted to preserving the life and times of the people of the Edo and Meiji era who were involved with the shipping. There were many shipping dealers in the Tokoname. They shipped many products to Edo and in return. Tokyo sent ingredients at that time and supported the lives of the people. One of these shipping owners was the Takita family. This Takita's house was built in 1850. It was soon after the Takita family started their shipping business. Now we opened this house to the public after restoring it so that you can feel a history in owners home.

There are 2 buildings. The main house has 8 rooms and one mud floor kitchen. It has also the 2nd floor. You can see the all architectural techniques to make this house comfortable.
