Suhara Shrine (洲原神社) is located northern Mino city. It was established in 717 by Yasuzumi under order of Gensho Emperor. It enshrines Izanagi, Izanami and Onamuchi no Mikoto. This shrine has the highest rank of Shinto, Sho ichii, therefore it is very important shrine. Wadaiko on the gate is very huge and main feature of this shrine.

It was also popular for rain making in ancient times.
In November 30, there is Matsuri of Shrine, and there are about 30 other Matsuri in this shrine.
