The Birth place of Takasugi Shinsaku (高杉晋作誕生地) is located in Hagi city, Yamaguchi prefecture. Takasugi Shinsaku is one of the legendary Samurai who made the Meiji Restoration. His house is located in Hagi Castle town. His house is preserved in the good condition and the well that is a baby's first bath is also remains there.
