Tokoname (常滑) is a town of the history and pottery located in Chita Peninsula, Aichi Prefecture. It is near by Centrair Airport. Its history of the pottery has over 1000 years and considered as one of the 6 major pottery towns in Japan. There are many unique pottery studios that you can find great ceramics and pottery dishes and cups. Also, it has many old ovens that have a nice traditional scenery of Tokoname.
