MIne area is located in the center of Yamaguchi Prefecture. The entire city is registered Mine Akiyoshidai Geo Park. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains.

Akiyoshidai Karst is one of the largest Karst Hills in Japan. It is located in the middle of Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is registered as a special natural monument of Japan. Under this hill, there is Akihishi cave which is one of the most popular caves in Japan.
