Legend said, the first pagoda was constructed by Taira no Masakado over 1000 years ago. Current one was constructed in 1375 by Muto clan, and Mogami Yoshimitsu fixed over 380 years ago. Because of its historic value and beauty, it is designated as the national treasure of Japan.
