Kappa buchi (かっぱ淵) is one of the popular spot in Tono, Iwate prefecture. Kappa is the Japanese river gremlins that have the fairy tale stories all over Japan. Cucumbers are Kappa's favorite food. Tono has also a unique Kappa story and this place you might see them.
