Nogawa Park (野川公園, nogawakoen) is the park located in Koganei and Mitaka in Tokyo. The Nogawa River run through the middle of the park. You can enjoy catching fish and any water animals in this river. So, one of the best park for family activities. On the weekend, many families come here enjoy B.B.Q and play on the field. In the nature park, there is the habitat of firefly, so many people visit this park at the end of summer.

Check out the Higanbana at Nogawa park Park. Higanbana, Lycoris radiata, is the beautiful flower which blossom in the early fall. The flower is strong crimson red, and some time it blossoms white flowers. Especially, in Nogawa Park nature garden, there is the field where covered by Higanbana. That place is also known as Hotaru, firefly. So, visit this park in the end of August to end of September. You can experience the ending of the Japanese summer and beginning of Japanese fall.
