It will be more exciting to visit Shibamata if you know the movie "Otokowatsuariyo (男はつらいよ)" The town has the bronze statue of Torasan who is the main character of the movie. You really feel like you are in the movie.

Taisyakuten temple is one of the another great feature of Shibamata. The temple is great, but also they have great carvings and garden.
