Mt. Kenashi is 1,964m tall mountain located north west side of Mt. Fuji. It is located both Minobu, Yamanashi and Fujinomiya, Shizuoka. It is chosen as one of 200 best mountains in Japan, 100 best mountain in Shizuoka and 100 best mountains in Yamanashi.

There are many Mt. Kenashi in Japan, and this one is the tallest Mt. Kenashi in Japan.

The route to the top is very simple, but the difference of its altitude from parking to the top is over 1,000m. So, it is a very hard mountain.

There is a Fudo Falls on the trail.

It has a great view of Mt. Fuji at the top of Mt. Kenashi. Around October 27 and February 16, the Sun rises from the top of Mt. Fuji.
