Tatebayashi castle (館林城跡) is one of the flatland castles located in Tatebayashi, Gunma Prefecture. It was built before 1471. Tatebayashi castle is also known as swamp castle because it uses swamp as the natural moat of this castle. It was a very important castle for northern Kanto region. The Doruibashi gate is reconstructed and the earth walls and baileys are remaining well.
