Kashio Bridge

Kashio Bridge (柏尾橋) is one of historic sites located in Yamanashi. It was used to be a part of Kosyu Road. In 1868, the commander of Shinsengumi, Kondo Isami lead his army and fought against the army of Meiji Government. Kondo's army was lost in this battle and this was the beginning of the fall of Edo Gervernment.

There is no parking or restroom.

0. at Kofu Station.
1. use JR Chuo Line to Katsunumabudogou.
2. walk south (1 hour)

Kashio Bridge

Kashio Bridge is a bridge located on Kosyu Road in Katsunuma, Yamanashi Prefecture. There are ruins of 3 different bridges. The first bridge was constructed in Edo period. Next one was constructed in Meiji Period, and last one is Taisho Period. All of them are located next to current bridge.
