Yamanouchi Samurai Apartment (旧山内家下屋敷長屋) is a Samurai residence located in Kochi. This apartment was the residence of Ashigaru, the lower rank Samurai. It was constructed in 1864. It displays the life of Samurai. It is registered as the national important cultural asset.

Yamanouchi Samurai Apartment was constructed in 1864 by Yamanouchi Yodo. He moved 7 of his Samurai at this place, and built new Samurai House. It is one of few remaining Samurai Apartment in Japan.
This apartment was for Ashigaru, low rank Samurai. It is 33m long and 2 stories building. There are 5 residential rooms.
2nd floor displays photo of famous persons of Tosa. Tosa Ships and other craft tools.
