After the Meiji Restoration, Asakusa becomes one of the major entertainment spots in Tokyo because of International Theatre, Rokku Theatre district, and movie theatre and studio.

Senso-ji
... is the Buddhist Temple built in 645. It has two beautiful gates, Kaminari-mon Gate and Hozo-mon Gate. Kaminari-mon is located on the entrance of Nakamise Shopping Districts which as many gift shops. Hozo-mon gate has tow Nioh Statues. In main temple, there are many historical art works and figures. Also, Goju-no-to, five stories tower of temple is beautiful. Between Kaminari mon and Hozo mon called Nakamise Street which has many gift shops and food stands which offers you the all kinds of Japanese souvenirs.
